Sir Jonathan Ive
Apple Senior Vice President for Industrial Design and modern day design icon Jonathan Ive has been awarded a knighthood in the New Years Honours List for ‘services to design and enterprise’.
Ive, who joined Apple in 1992, became head of industrial design in 1998, forging an amazingly successful working relationship with the late Steve Jobs that saw them launch the iMac, iPod, iTunes, iPhone and iPad, as well as revitalising Apple’s desktop computers, on an increasingly grateful world.
