Never let it be said that I’m biased towards the work of any studio over the other but I do love Rosie Lee and the consistently top notch output. This time I’ve got the heads up on the branding and identity they have produced for the 2012 British Dance Edition.

British Dance Edition showcases the best in British dance. A bi-annual event that provides event bookers with a taste of choice performance pieces, Rosie Lee were asked to create an identity for the 2012 London exposé.

Capturing both the vibrancy and movement of performance, they used a broad ink stroke to create an expressive mark suggestive of a dancing figure. Supporting type was stacked to anchor the mark and establish an authoritative tone for the organisation.

The identity was applied across all event and PR collateral used in prominent locations across London, including Sadler’s Wells and the Southbank Centre.
